This course best meets the needs of those who want to start speaking Russian or need to improve their conversational speech in Russian, overcome the language barrier and understand the modern Russian language better.
The course program is designed to develop communication skills as well as other aspects of the language use.
The course is available for the three levels of language proficiency (A1-A2, B1).
- Russian for beginners (A1-А2).
This course is designed for people who want:
— to communicate fluently in situations involving the use of everyday vocabulary;
— to conduct a conversation on a given topic;
— to increase their cultural awareness about the culture of the countries of the language being studied;
— to develop their basic spelling skills.
During the course our students will practice:
- reading;
- grammar;
- writing;
- speaking & listening.
The program of the course will cover the most common topics such as:
- Family;
- Professions;
- Shopping;
- Weather conditions;
- Cities and countries;
- Transport.
Minimum language level required: beginner.
Course start date: 10th October 2022.
Course duration: 140 hours, twice a week for two hours (120 min.).
Course group size: 4-6 students.
Timetable: Mon, Wed 14.00 – 16.00.

2. Russian, Basic course (B1).
This course is aimed at people who want:
- to systematize basic grammar knowledge and enlarge vocabulary;
- to develop and improve skills and abilities in interrelated productive and receptive types of speech activity;
- to increase their cultural awareness about the culture of the countries of the language being studied.
During the course our students will practice:
- reading;
- grammar;
- writing;
- speaking & listening.
The program of the course will cover such topics as:
- Self-portrait;
- My working day;
- Public transport;
- Stages of the education system;
- Reasons for travelling;
- Hotel and rooms;
- Menu in the restaurant;
- Kitchenware.
Minimum language level required: A2.
Course start date: 11th October 2022.
Course duration: 140 hours, twice a week for two hours (120 min.).
Course group size: 4-6 students.
Timetable: Tuesday, Thursday 12.00 – 14.00.
